Heart and commitment in the Kalahari
Lea Sander is a counsellor and life/small business coach and the mother of three grown-up children.
For ten years she has volunteered amongst the Tswana people in the Kalahari Desert in South Africa, a poor and isolated region often forgotten by its government.
Lea is the founder and co-ordinator of Kalahari Experience Development Initiatives (KEDI) and the South African project officer for World Families Australia.
Lea has also volunteered three times in Tanzania for ‘Women in Action’ organisation and worked with refugees here in Australia.
And it all began with a single moment in 2005 while volunteering in Sri Lanka….
