The next meeting of the Board of Directors of the Shrewsbury club will be held following the regular club meeting on August 14. The meeting will be held at the Post Office Pub.
 
For the benefit of those who are fairly new to the club, the Board of Directors actually does the business of the club. The officers of the club and four at-large members serve as the board. However, any member of the club may attend a board meeting and raise issues that they feel need to come before the club. The members of the board actually have the vote on all business.
 
At a regular club meeting—usually on the week following the meeting of the board—the issues that have come before the board, and other items of concern and interest to the members, are reported at a Club Assembly.
