Presentation Title: “Backcountry Wilderness Area: Your Giant, Wild Backyard” Introduction: Lindsey is the Communications & Outreach Coordinator for the HRCA Backcountry Wilderness Area. She manages the Backcountry Conservation & Education Fund nonprofit, social media, marketing, and occasional chicken herding. Her background, which includes time at the Denver Post & 5280 Magazine, is grounded in journalism, communication, and a love for the outdoors. This presentation provides an overview of Paladin Rescue Alliance, a non government organization dedicated to combating human trafficking in Southeast Asia. Paladin was founded in May 2016 and was created with the following mission statement: To provide freedom, hope, and a future to human sex trafficking victims". To accomplish this mission Paladin works across pillars to include prevention, rescue, and aftercare. Opportunities for involvement that are tangible and meaningful are also discussed. Jon Bio: Jon is the President of Paladin Rescue Alliance and the Director of analytics for the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe. He holds a ph.d in statistics and research methods from the university of Nebraska. He has been fighting on the front lines against human trafficking for the past five years. |
