Academic Decathlon Judging

We are looking for judges for our Regional Academic Decathlon Tournament that will be hosted by Buena High School on Friday evening, January 5^th and Saturday morning January 6^th.  On both occasions it is very important that you arrive on time.  We will send you a reminder email two days before the tournament.

The speech and interview judging will take place on Friday evening, January 5^th, from 5:00 to 8:30 PM. Please enter the building through the front door main entrance on the south side of the building.  On Friday night we will provide dinner.  We will need 48 judges:  24 speech and 24 interview judges that night.

The essay judging will take place on Saturday morning, January 6^th, from 9:00 AM to noon.  Please enter by the double-door entrance to the library near the flagpole on the south side of the building.  We will need 16 essay judges.  On Saturday morning we will provide breakfast snacks.

Please let us know if you want to judge speech or interview on Friday night, Jan 5^th, or you would like to judge essay on Saturday morning, Jan 6^th. 

If you wish you may be a judge for two of the three events.  You could do either speech or interview on Friday evening, Jan 5^th, and essay on Saturday morning, Jan 6^th.  Please contact Gary Burden at theburdens6@msn.com or 520-220-9021 to let us know which event or events you would like to judge.
