Rotary International established the Rotary Youth Exchange program in 1939. Our district adopted the program in 1970 and our club in 1976.

The Youth Exchange Committee has two functions: inbound and outbound exchange. The inbound student has a counselor (Joe Hubbell) who monitors and supports our inbound student, and an inbound coordinator (Wayne Wunderlich) who coordinates housing, including host families, and oversees the inbound student's arrangements and paperwork. The outbound coordinator (Andrea Seeley) coordinates marketing of the program including school visits and parent informational events, as well as the selection process for applicants. The current outbounds are monitored and supported as well. The Committee draws upon the club at large for interviews.
