Life Leadership

Life Leadership Committee

The Life Leadership Committee is chaired by Andrea Seeley.  Its function is to find candidates for the District's Life Leadership Conference held in Tustin, Michigan every June.  Five students are identified from the county to attend, with the goal being to locate a student from each school.  Nominations of candidates are solicited from school personnel as well as from a newspaper advertisement by the chair.  The committee chair also coordinates school informational visits in the spring when requested.  Finally, club members are sometimes called upon to interview candidates or to assist with the school visits.

Rotary Clubs have been sponsoring students to attend the Life Leadership Conference offered by Rotary District 6290 since 1949.
