Charity is headed off to Cornerstone as a Christoff scholar.

Tess is finishing up at Michigan and going on to study for a Masters in Public Health. She is a King scholar.

Jon and Jessica shared about this years fair and plans for the future. There are about 830 exhibitors with 6700 entries. Many of the kids have diversity in projects, with both animal and still exhibits. Premiums are still given out. A blue ribbon in the still exhibit is $4 and a red ribbon $2. The animal exhibits work on a sliding scale.

The engineering work out at Deer Run is almost complete. Currently, work is being done on Cascade road to make it wider. You can golf thru this season. The goal is for ground breaking to begin spring of 2020 and be operational on site in 2021. The Deer run banquet facility will continue...eg fish fry! The goal is to generate monies through out the year not just the week of fair. Some building have the potential to move with them. The poultry barn used to be a dormitory for kids and may move as a part of history and be a museum. The original milking parlor, now guest services, may move and be converted back into a milking parlor.
Judi, Paris, Carley, and Bella from this years Royal court joined us for lunch.

Another way to support the youth fair!
