“Karis: A Safe Place For Teens:”

My name is Jaid Beacham and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at Karis! I grew up in Colorado and spent many years in Montana before deciding to return home and begin my career in nonprofits in 2021. As a former homeless youth, I gravitated towards Karis because I believe no child should be left without a home. Working alongside our volunteers is incredibly rewarding and seeing the community invest in the growth of our youth leads me to believe that with time we will come closer to our goal of ending youth homelessness.
