Donation Criteria Committee:  Met and compiled draft criteria. Laurel will put in a format for member review.


Race Electronic Timer: Potential cost of $6,000-$10,000. We may be able to rent a system from Bayfield schools. Brandon is researching rental possibilities.


Lighting workday: Sat. September 27. 8 a.m. breakfast at Ponderosa. 9 a.m. meet at storage shed.


Gun raffle: Gun purchased for $966.35. A holster will be added with cost about $40. 2nd Place cash prize will be $300. Beneficiaries are the Imagination Library and RYLA.

-       Sept. 20 Dolores PTO hosting an 18 & over fundraiser dance at Elks Lodge.

-       Dolores Student Council working on homecoming planning and establishing a healthy and safe school environment.


Kelly Proctor, The Pinon Project, discussed nutrition with community engagement initiative which is now focused in Dolores. Impetus is raising percentage of childhood obesity. Elements include bikes for families and healthy eating. Rotary members encourage her participation in commodities distribution, especially providing recipes for inclusion in food boxes. We provided a list of common commodities items (i.e. canned fruit and vegetables, dried beans, lentils, etc.).
