Innovations in Aging and PILLAR

Claire Anderson serves Innovations in Aging Collaborative as executive director after working as executive director of the Senior Resource Council, and previously, executive director of the El Paso County Bar Association. Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, MN, and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Recently Claire obtained a Professional Advancement Certificate in Gerontology from UCCS and is a Certified Mediator through The Elledge Group.

Vickie Heffner is the Executive Director, PILLAR Institute for Lifelong Learning, Colorado Springs, CO The PILLAR Institute for Lifelong Learning, founded in 1998 under the auspices of Pikes Peak Community College and spun off a year later as an independent 501(c)(3) organization, prides itself on being the only independent Lifelong Learning Organization in the Pikes Peak region.
