Samantha Chapman and Juliana Howard, our co-chairs of Prime, helped organize this year's food drive and distribution for Cougars Cares.  Cougars Cares helped provide 150 box sets of food for 95 families associated with Coronado High School plus the additional going to Urban Peak, Marian House, and Dale House, among others.. On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, many Coronado students gathered in the high school gym to sort and box a multitude of donated food.  Once the food was boxed, Rotarians and other volunteers stepped in to help families with their selections and take them to their vehicle.

Rotarians who assisted were Samantha Chapman plus Julianna Hetrick and husband Kyle along with her co-worker Jennille Geiger with son Lucas.  Ashley Lawrence, Liz & Dennis Shoemaker, Vance Valades, and Andy Vick also helped with the effort.  Rotary Prime was able to also make a $1500 cash donation to Cougars Care.
