Our speaker will be addressing advocacy for children.
"I've never had the need to be famous or see my name in lights. I've always been attracted to small group interaction. And, as a result, I've learned that grass-roots advocacy is where I can do my best work. And where I also find greatest meaning. Often our professions give us opportunity to advocate for others--teachers, financial planners, the medical community, realtors--we've all done some level of advocacy in our careers. However, when we step beyond our everyday lives and become advocates for those who have no other, I believe we find our greatest meaning."
