"United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum"

The 60,000-square foot U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Museum is dedicated to U.S. Olympic and Paralympic athletes and their compelling stories, with the artifacts, media and technology behind the athletes who make the United States proud.

The Museum is one of the most accessible and interactive museums in the world. The inclusive designs and assistive technologies include open captions, audio-description tracks, assisted listening, and RFID-triggered customizations.

Judy Cara is the Museum’s group sales manager, a role that she accepted in July this year.  Having previously worked for organizations such as Kaiser Permanente, Western Union Foundation, and Intel Corporation, Cara most recently managed the planetarium at the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Cara’s community involvement includes board positions with the YMCA, the Chamber of Commerce, Girl Scouts, the Women’s Foundation, and Cheyenne Village. Nationally, she served on boards with Project Lead the Way, the Council on Foundations, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Her accomplishments have received extensive recognition, including the prestigious Athena and Unique Woman of Colorado awards.
