Surviving Utopia: Jim Jones and People's Temple
Tim is a lawyer and he recently moved, for family reasons, from California to Colorado Springs and joined our club after moving here.
 
He is establishing a federal litigation practice in Colorado and Tim is a graduate of Littleton High School in Colorado, Wheaton College in Illinois, and Stanford Law School.
 
For the past 19 years he was a California prosecuting attorney. In 2010, he was nominated to the California District Attorneys Association as a "Prosecutor of the Year."
 
In 2014, he received an award from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife as one of the "top five wildlife prosecutors” in California–in a presentation attended by the governor.
 
He is the author of two books:
 
The first is titled Love Them to Death: At War with the Devil at Jonestown, and was published in 2017.
 
The second is titled Surviving Utopia: Jim Jones and Peoples Temple, and was published in 2018.
