Travels with District Governor Maile

We’ll talk about:

  • Updates from Rotary leadership — including our incoming RI President from Italy!

  • How District 5470 supports your club’s goals and connects you to resources

  • New opportunities for service, membership growth, and visibility

  • Open volunteer roles where you can make an impact

It’s a chance to connect, share ideas, and celebrate the amazing work we’re doing together in Rotary.

Auto-Biography:

Hi, I’m Maile Foster. My Hawaiian name honors my parents’ courtship in Hawaii—it’s pronounced like “Smiley” without the “s.” I grew up in Navy towns on both coasts and earned my English degree at UCLA, though I’m more of a numbers person at heart.

I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for 26 years, running my own financial planning and investment management practice, a career I love too much to retire from. Before that, I spent 20 years with IBM, eventually choosing Colorado Springs for its mountains, hiking, skiing, and community spirit.

My son, an automotive industry consultant and professional race car driver, and my two granddaughters often visit. I’ve been a Rotarian for 19 years, finding in Rotary the perfect way to “pay it forward” and multiply my impact for good in the world.
