Cougers Care Annual Thanksgiving Project

We will be building Thanksgiving boxes for Coronado high school’s underprivileged students. With the funds that we get plus what Coronado has built into the budget we will be able to positively affect 100 families over Thanksgiving. All money goes toward food, gift cards for a Turkey and other dry goods that people can use throughout the week. This will be the 3^rd year that we have done the Thanksgiving project with Coronado High School.

Michaela Smith-Team lead, Ashley Lawrence-Team Support, Samantha Chapman-Team Support.  Will enlist support of 20 Rotarians between the 17^th and 18^th to help with the boxes.

The expected outcome from the project is to make families happy through the Thanksgiving time of year. These families depend on Cougars Care especially during the holidays when kids do not have as much access to food as when they are in school.
