Cougars Care Thanksgiving Project

Assist Coronado High School with their Cougars Care Thanksgiving Service Project where they will be providing families in need at Coronado High School with a full weeks worth of food and a meal for Thanksgiving. 

Volunteers are needed to assist with the sorting of donated food items and packing of the boxes as well as family pick-up the next day. The sorting is primarily done by the students, but adult assistance is welcome for quality assurance and to assist with organization. 

Sorting will take place on Friday, November 19th from 3 - 5 PM at the Coronado High School Auxilary Gym. 

Pick-up will take place on Saturday, November 20th from 9:15 AM - 11:00 AM

We will also be collecting non-perishable goods that you may bring to any Friday meeting between now and Nov. 19th or coordinate with Samantha Chapman to drop off any donations directly. We are also excited to share that the service fund has approved to donate $1,500 to Cougars Care to assist with the purchase of fresh foods and gift cards for families to purchase a Turkey or other items they need for the holiday.
