Program: Andrea, as our club Foundation Chair, presented on the Rotary Foundation. She raised some questions; does our club want to get to the goal of $100 donation per Rotarian every year?; does our club want to try to qualify for grants next year?; Is anyone willing to volunteer for a grants committee?
Some points about the Rotary Foundation:
- Easy sign up online
- club needs donations to qualify for grants
- Half can come back to club
- Half to World Fund
The morning club is working on a grant for a sidewalk form Hospice House to Meridian.
Andrea brought up an idea to use fundraising events and the members who volunteer get credit towards the foundation
