February 8, 2016 Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order by President, Jocelyn Fabry, and prayer was given by Justin Knepper.

 

Guests:

- Tracey Laitinen brought her husband

- Jason Davis, LSSU track coach

 

Announcements:

- Debbie handed out pledge cards to all Rotarians to participate in Rotary Foundation giving.  Every Rotarian needs to fill out and return the pledge card to Debbie, regardless of whether or not you elect to donate.  She simply needs to get an election from everyone so you will no longer be asked. 

- Board notes:

   - $500 given to EUP CRD

   - $500 given to HOSA students

   - $100 to the morning club Art display event

   - The board approved the purchase of a community stage

 

Fines:

- Gravatt paid a happy dollar for the great service he received from Anytime Towing

- Auction team T.Rump is kicking butt

- Dr. Pete's daughter won the spelling bee

- Laurie had a great trip to Grand Cayman

 

Program - Senator Casperson spoke to our club today and answered many questions regarding a variety of different topics.
