December 7, 2016 Meeting Notes

The meeting was called to order by President, Jocelyn Fabry and prayer was given by Justin Knepper

- Harold Gravatt brought his son, John Thomas

- Jr. Rotaries shared their Christmas wishes

 

Board Meeting Review:

- $1,000 grant given to Shop with a Hero

- Brent Pusch terminated

- Legacy of Love 

- Jennifer Dunton LOA

 

Announcements:

- Brent Osterhout looking for interest in a Rotary program to do a property fix-up for an elderly citizen this spring.  He is looking to set up a committee.

- Tim Hall - schools are having open houses over Christmas break

- Elks club 4-7 pm tonight are having a Tacos with Santa fundraiser

 

Program:

 

the Volunteer Center Coordinator for EUP United Way spoke about the different programs she help with for UW.  Specifically, she spoke of the Thanksgiving basket distribution which fed 70 families in SSM.  She is looking to triple this number next year.
