Richard Crawfton was the guest of Dan Dasho. Richard is the Soo Evening News publisher and is interested in joining our club.

  • Board Meeting last Friday:
    • Rotary 101 to be schedule soon for Red Badge members
    • Auction planned for March 5, 2016.  1st planning meeting at the Antler's on Oct 22
    • Game Show committee meeting 10/6 at Smith & Co.
    • Dick Guysbert approved for membership pending club name on the table.  He also just came out of a successful bypass surgery in Marquette
    • Haunted Depot Haunted House Friday and Saturday 5:30-8pm last two weekends of October
    • Phil Becker is retiring this winter and will be stepping down from Membership Chair to allow more time for traveling in retirement.  He will continue to be very active with our club in other ways.  Any interested person in being membership chair please contact Jocelyn or Phil
    • CHAC Caramel Apple fundraiser 2nd round orders due by Friday at noon for delivery next week
    • Our club committed to an in-bound exchange student for next year.  More info to follow in the coming weeks and months

Jr. Rotarians gave an update on their Polio Project.  They will be having a booth at the health fair on October 24th
 
Program:    Dyke Justin spoke to our club today about his involvement and coaching with SCAT swim team.  He is very passionate about this sport and appreciate of the community's support.  He introduced a few of his athletes as well.
