Howard Hardaway introduced his friend our speaker today- Peter Mahncke, a remarkable marathon runner!

 

Peter shares his journey from the German Airforce to New York in 1982, eventually settling in Atlanta with a beautiful family - 3 boys and 3 grandchildren.

A lifelong soccer player turned marathon enthusiast, he started running in 1989 at the Peachtree Road race. Now, he's on a mission to complete a marathon in all 50 states - a fantastic bucket list goal!

 Peter's creativity shines through in his song "I am a runner."

Among his many achievements, running the Boston Marathon in 2023 stands out. Cheers to Peter's incredible running adventures!
