The cross county booster clubs of Jackson County Comprehensive High School and Buford High School each received a check for $625 when the schools tied in the number of participants they fielded for the 2014 Run the Vineyard 5K held Aug. 9. Check back here for more scenes from the fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Braselton which awarded $650 to the cross country booster clubs of both the Jackson County Comprehensive High School and Buford High School. A tie for the largest number of participants for the school teams found the schools splitting the first and second place total prize money of $1250. Mill Creek High School’s cross country booster club received a $250 check.
Also presented was a $2,500 check to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Jackson County.
