Childrens Library Computer

A number of civic organizations and businesses contributed more than $2700 to purchase a new computer system for children. The donors were Chateau Elan Book Club, The Villages Book Club, Oxley Village Book Club, the Braselton Woman's Club, the Braselton Rotary Club, Phil-Mart Corporation, Kathy Stone and Ace Hardware. Friends of the Braselton-West Jackson Library is the institution's volunteer arm and sponsor of year-round programs and projects, including staffing the library's gift shop. "The town is fortunate to have such generous businesses and organizations," said Mayor Graham, "especially for this computer-savvy generation of younger library patrons. Our thanks go to the entire community which rallied to support this cause."

The Club has an on going donation project to the City of Braselton Library.  In 2008 the club presented an electronic magnification reader to the Library.  Every weekly speaker has presented in their name a childrens book to the Braselton Library.
