The Junior League of Gainesville-Hall County will host its 64th annual Charity Ball on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Chattahoochee Country Club. 

Among the six Charity Ball Belle candidates, who are all outstanding young ladies dedicated to furthering the mission of the Junior League to make the community a better place for women and children, is Shannon Waddell, who is representing the Rotary Club of Braselton. Shannon will be conducting several fundraising events which you will learn more about in the coming weeks.

Shannon is a senior at Lakeview Academy. She is involved in Key Club, Senior Beta Club, Eco Club, International Club, and Interact Club.  She is involved in Younglife, is a FCA Leader and is a counselor at the YMCA Camp High Harbour. She has played varsity soccer for four years. Shannon is honored and excited to represent the Braselton Rotary Club and to work alongside such a great community raising money for charity.

Tickets to the Dec. 12 Charity Ball include dinner, two drink tickets per person and a signature drink, and are $150 per couple and $75 for individual tickets.  Tickets for sustaining members are $125 a couple.  To purchase tickets, call 770-535-1951. No one under 21 is allowed admission to the ball.
