The Rotary Club of Braselton is donating $500 to the Super Typhoon Haiyan disaster relief effort in the Philippines. It will be matched by $500 matching grant from our District 6910 emergency response funds.

Gainesville area volunteer, Mike Freeman has been recognized by President Obama and ShelterBox USA with a Presidential Volunteer Service Award for his efforts during 2011 to provide shelter, warmth and dignity for survivors of natural and other disasters worldwide
