High School Scholarship Opportunity
The Rotary Club of Wrexham Erddig. D.1180 U.K. http://www.werc.org.uk/ is inviting two Georgia young people to stay with them for two weeks in July, 2016. The student should be 18/19 years old, and ideally would not have been to the U.K. previously. Their club would cover the cost of transport from Manchester England, and food and accommodation during their stay. The chosen students would arrive at Manchester Airport on or about June 28/29 and return on or about July 12/13th. Accommodation would be with a Rotary family upon arrival, and thereafter at GLYNDWR UNIVERSITY Student Accommodation in Wrexham, (www.glyndwr.ac.uk) for about 10 days. The final few days of their stay would again be with a Rotary family.
The visit is timed to coincide with the world famous LLANGOLLEN INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL (July 4-9). The students would be transported the 10 miles or so to Llangollen, which would give them the opportunity to mix with visitors from all over the world. see http://international-eisteddfod.co.uk/

We are ever mindful of the Hospitality you have shown our students since 1999, and once again we would like to repay you in a small way by
inviting two of your young people to stay with us next year.
We will accept two students. They should be 18/19 years old, and ideally would not have been to the U.K. previously.
They would be expected to bear the cost of the flight, and have sufficient 'pocket money' for their stay.
Our club would cover the cost of transport from Manchester England, and food and accommodation during their stay.
We propose that they arrive at Manchester Airport on or about June 28/29 and return on or about July 12/13th.
