The Rotary Club of Braselton will be sponsoring Peter this year.  He arrived in Georgia on August 9, 2013.  Be prepared to welcome him and share some of your Southern hospitality.  He is attending Truett McConnel College.  He is a math whiz scoring 760 on the math portion of his SAT.  We will again be sharing him with the Rotary Clubs of White County and Peachtree Corners.

Peter enrolled for Winter Semester at Georgia Gwinnett College

GGC is a kind of international school, I have a lot of friends since the first day. I got very involved, I am the treasurer of International Student Association, club member of Investment club. This weekend I will attend Georgia International Leadership Conference which will be held at Colombus State University. Without transferring to GGC, I would never heard about the opportunity of GILC. GGC has brand new dorms, and I have an own room. I really enjoy this new experience, but time goes so fast. I feel like we just started this semester and I am almost done with midterms which means half of the semester is over.

I tried to find a good combination of having fun and taking interesting classes at GGC. I think I did well. I am taking Auditing, Entrepreneurship & new ventures, Security analysis and portfolio management, tennis, volleyball, and golf. Due to the bad weather, most of golf class were cancelled, but there is a significant improvement in my performance.

With my finance professor, we are working on a research project, and looking for the answer for why American companies pay dividend.

One of the additional material of auditing class was HealthSouth: Wagon to the disaster which is about one of the biggest ever committed management and accounting fraud of the USA history. With my auditing professor, we are working on holding a lecture of business ethics by inviting the writer of the book who participated in the fraud.
