AT THE JANUARY 2016 TRUSTEE MEETING FOR THE SELECTION OF STUDENTS FOR THE CLASS OF 2016-2017

Mike Sweigart presents to President Carroll a check from the GRSP Endowment of $896 for the club's support of the endowment because club members have contributed $50 per capita to the endowment.

The Rotary Clubs of Georgia selected 51 students for the class of 2016-2017 (up from 46 in the class of 2015-2016). The names of the students will not be released until the qualification process is completed by the GRSP staff. The students have to accept the selection, submit their scores, grades and transcripts, be accepted by the college before the students can be identified and contacted by the clubs and host families. This process takes two to three months.
