In years’ past, Minneapolis City of Lakes organized a golf event lovingly called the “Knicker Open”. COL Members will dust off their knickers and clubs to revisit this former club tradition this Saturday. All golf abilities are welcome and knickers are optional (but yes, pants of some kind are still required). Foursomes will be created onsite that day. Using best ball format, teams will be balanced by levels of experience. Event will include informal post golf "socially distant" conversation, light snacks, drinks and awards.
- Date: Saturday, September 19
- Time: 11:30 a.m. arrival; Golf and socializing 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. (*Arrive by 11:30 a.m. to be placed on teams. Tee times begin at noon. Warm-up before at your discretion. Some could use it more than others…)
- Location: Hiawatha Golf Club (4553 Longfellow Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55407) (Just east of Cedar and 46th So.)
- Cost: $50.00 fee includes token for driving range, golf and cart fee
