
The Rotary Club of Westmount has partnered with 5 Rotary clubs in Iași, Romania, where thousands of Ukrainian refugees are pouring across the Romanian border in urgent need of services and support. Most of the refugees fleeing to safety are women and children.
Rotarians on the front lines are providing:
- medical assistance
- food, water
- food for children with special requirements
- accommodation
- mattresses, pillows, sheets, blankets
- transport to accommodation and services
- legal assistance
- translation services
- personal hygiene products
- toys, vitamins, diapers
- prepaid SIM cards and battery chargers
- and so much more

Thank you to all who joined us at Ye Olde Orchard Pub (1189 rue de la Montagne) and supported this initiative - it was a tremendous success! We raised more than $17,000 that is being used to provide direct aid and medical supplies to Ukrainians.

Our 'Sunday at the Pub for Ukraine' event was an incredible success!
We raised more than $7,000 for Rotary initiatives to provide urgent relief, resources, and support to Ukrainian refugees in Romania through our partner clubs in Iași, Romania.
