Your Rotary Club of Westmount continues to support community, regional and international initiatives. Your financial support and that of many others has enabled our Club to serve and support various needs at home and abroad. In the last 10 years, the Rotary Club of Westmount has contributed over $360,000 to various causes. In this Annual Appeal, we're inviting your financial support so that we may continue to serve the most vulnerable among us.

Our weekly meetings are now a combination of in-person at Victoria Hall in Westmount and online via the ZOOM platform.

Here's what we've been doing:
  • Locally, we are concentrating our efforts on supporting youth and seniors in the Westmount/NDG/St-Henri area. Among other projects, we've given $2,200 to the YMCA Teen Zone located at the Westmount Recreation Centre. Designed for prevention and personal development, the Teen Zone welcomes all young people in an environment that is safe and free from discrimination, free of charge.
  • Our third Sunday at the Pub for Ukraine fundraising event at McKibbin’s pub raised another $16,000 which was sent to Rotary clubs in the war zone to buy a generator for a centre for special needs children. To date, we've put over $62,000 towards the effort in Ukraine.
  • The Rotary truck had another busy year, transporting furniture, appliances, and household supplies to newly arrived immigrants and their families who found apartments to live in, but have nothing to put in them.
  • Our Environment Committee has been helping Sauvons la Falaise St-Jacques as they continue to clean and protect this little-known but vital green space in the heart of Montreal.
  • We continue distributing Christmas baskets, funding scholarship programs, and supporting local service organizations.

100% of your donations and bequests go directly to our projects.
