Wounded Warrior Project honors and empowers our wounded warriors by raising awareness and enlisting the public's aid for the needs of severely injured service men and women and by helping them aid and assist each other through unique programs and services to meet their needs.
Kayak For Backpacks' goal is to raise donations to fund Wounded Warrior Backpacks ($99 donation) and Transitional Care Packs ($50 donation) containing essential care and comfort items (clothing, toiletries, calling card, CD player, playing cards, etc.) provided to severely wounded warriors arriving at military trauma centers.
