WORLD PEACE CONFERENCE

Rotarians from District 5890 and members of the Houston/Leipzig Sister City Association have funded the design and installation of a new modern design Peace Window in the St. Thomas Church, Leipzig. Dedication was October 9-11, 2009. Johann Sebastian Bach is buried in the Church Nave. The Church is a world Monument Fund site and a major tourist attraction. The window is located directly above the choir loft where Bach worked for the last 27 years of his life.  SEE DOWNLOADS ON RIGHT>>
