Seniors First of Placer County

Joe got the meeting of to a "Rowing" start with an asynchronous version of Row Row Row Your Boat.  We welcomed Rose back; she has not been able to attend because she got a promotion at Placer Food Bank.   Congratulations to Rose.

Thanks to all who helped at the Creekside Oaks Elementary Garden Cleanup last Monday.  We need to search out and do more of these type of events. Interact helped. We pulled weeds.  We hoed. We sweated. We had fun.   And, the job was completed in about 2+ hours.  The facebook post got about 10 times as many people looking at pictures than our normal posts!.  Thanks to Kris for arranging this event.

Speaking of seniors, Ed Page presented a HurriCane to Stix in honor of Stix's continued service helping to set up for our meetings. Thank you to both Ed and Tony (Stix).  You two are the best and provide the target for all of our members for continued giving of yourselves to Rotary.
