Water Wells for the Massai

Through the combined effort of the Rotary Club of Doylestown, Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Langata (Kenya), and the many generous donations from local Buck County citizens, we have helped fund several water wells that are now benefiting over 10,000 Massai people in Kenya.

In the horrendous drought being suffered in the Rift Valley where the Maasai live, this water has meant the difference between life and death. More then seven villages are being served by the wells. In addition to providing clean drinking water, the wells have also enabled them to bathe and wash clothing on a regular basis, greatly reducing illnesses from the lack of cleanliness.
