The Rotary Club of Doylestown
has been recognizing outstanding high schools students for over 25 years and has once again opened the Scholarship application process for senior students attending Central Bucks East, South and West High schools.
The Rotary Club of Doylestown awards an initial $1000 scholarship to a graduating senior from each of the three Central Bucks High Schools.  The scholarship is renewable for three additional years to the student maintaining their scholastic standing and participation in community service activities.

Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:

  • Academic performance
  • Involvement in School Activities
  • Involvement in Community Service
  • Potential for using college education to contribute to society.
  • Knowledge of the role of service organizations and specifically the role of Rotary International in local and world communities.

We look for students who best represent the ideals of Rotary as outlined in the "Four Way Test". Of all the things we think, say or do, we ask:

  • Is it the truth?
  • Is it fair to all concerned?
  • Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

The application form may be downloaded at: Application   Applications must be submitted to your school guidance counselor by 1 April 2012. The awards will be made at each schools spring awards ceremony.
