Doylestown Rotarians Receive Recognition

Linda McCrillis, our Rotary Foundation fundraiser, recognized 14 Paul Harris Fellows at our monthly Club Assembly on February 12, 2015. The Paul Harris Fellow Award recognizes Rotarians for significant milestones in their contributions to The Rotary Foundation. Receiving their first Paul Harris Fellow awards were Allen Childs, Raymond Minich, Susan Okun, Patricia Rider, William Shoffler and Amy Parenti (first and second award). Receiving recognition for multiple awards were Thomas Kube, Karen Lasorda, Janet Mintzer, Jane Moore, Richard Newman, John Ortolf, and Charles Pianko.

Janet Mintzer, in her capacity as Area Governor awarded certificates of completion to six Rotarians who attended the Rotary Leadership Institute in September 2014. The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a one day, multi-district, leadership development program held annually. Receiving certificates were Allen Childs, Melissa Bond, Gail Linenberg, & John Ortolf. Not shown are Bruce Rutherford and Ro Molineux.
Membership Co-Chair Keith Cianfrani awarded three New Member Sponsor recognition awards in the form of colored backers. Different colors represent increasing numbers of new members sponsored. Max Rose and Bruce Rutherford received Bronze backers for sponsoring two new members each. Janet Mintzer received a silver backer for sponsoring three new members.
