SERGEANT-AT-ARMS

Dan Toppari serving as Sergeant at Arms complained about the bird's leaky bottom and fined Julio Batres for not setting up the flags. 

Dan Toppari is happy he is looking forward to showing off his new ski attire at Holimont on Feb 16 2007 .   

Ron Basset was happy to attend and pleased to see how well we are doing.    

George Fitzpatrick attended a Medical conference about Mature Woman on a cruise ship that started in Argentina passed the Falkland Islands thru the Straits of Magellan to Chile

Ron Kozub announced he is no longer the only member with facial hair Keith Shaver now has a beard. 

John D'Ambrosio was happy his twenty year old son still wants his father to attend his hockey tournament in Windsor .

Keith Shaver announced the Canadian Junior Curling Championship was a success Alberta Won the Men' final and Newfoundland & Labrador won the Women's final. 

Matt is Unhappy he will not be attending Holimont Ski Day he has to work.  

June Manning had a great time at the Valentine Dance sponsored by the Inner Wheel.    

Jim Hooper was happy to have lunch with Dan Toppari and Dan even let Jim pay.   

John Teibert is happy we did not get all that snow New York did.      

Laetitia de Witt was happy she was able to go thru the storm in New York .   

Peter Snodgrass is sorry he will miss the Ski day in Holimont  he must attend a conference in Toronto .

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Bingo: Greg McDonald thanked Shelia Bristo and Matt Taylor for volunteering they were very busy 319 players attended that night. March 10th next Bingo volunteers needed.

Rotary District 7090 Community service committee: meeting March 1 2007 Cathy Henry will be representing our Club.

Champion of Youth Speaker Series: April 3, 2007   12:30 pm Copps Coliseum, Hamilton               905 527 7666

Diamond Gala meeting:   Julio said it will be very different this year. The Committee have arranged a menu of gourmet food. Cathy and Laetitia are taking care of the decorations. 300 tickets need to be sold and we need donations for the auction, Letters will be sent to previous years Donors. Please invite your friends. Our club's major fundraiser of the year needs volunteers register online on the website Friday morning meetings contact Julio Batres.

The Children and Staff at Women's Place: Thanked us for thinking of women's place this past Christmas. The collection of books were a wonderful addition to both the library and packages  given to the children at the shelter.

Guest Speaker Mayor Brian McMullan Feb 19th ED Telenko would like a good turn out for our new Mayor ask your friends to attend.

BIRTHDAYS:    Andrew Bowles was not present so he will have to hear us sing next week.
