A fun and successful
Rotary Road Rally 2016
from Green Things Plant Nursery
.

The Rally was fun and pleasurable for all, at our new Green Things location on Saturday, October 22, 2016.   Rally drivers and navigators very much enjoyed the delightful Blue and exhilarating Gold routes through Tucson old, new and remarkable, and we had plenty of donated $50, $40 and $25 gift cards for their earned awards and the very successful Road Rally Raffle.  Checkpoints along the routes included Ronald McDonald House and Mediation of Tucson this year.  BBQ Chefs Dave Hammond, Daniel Stringham, Tom Cariseo, and Ray Naylor provided a tasty post-Rally lunch.  Coco's pies were served as part of the Coco's Restaurant sponsorship, and many other sponsorships from other businesses were received thanks to David Eppihimer.  We had the highest number of cars yet on the routes, and we received many ticket donations for Intermountain Academy students and parents.

.

A special thank-you to Jack and Jan Westenborg for hosting us at Green Things Plant Nursery.  A spacious and fun spot for any Road Rally!
.
Major sponsors included Liberty Mutual, Royal Automotive, Lof Advisors, Desert Toyota, O'Rielly Chevrolet, Mediation of Tucson, Dave Hammond Investments and Coco's Restaurants.
.
We had some very exceptional cars on both routes and on the lot, including the red "Elvis" Caddie, an authentic Cobra sports car, a beautifully restored 1948 pick-up, a very shiny green 1950 Ford Custom coupe and Model-T - thanks to Mara Robinson and others.
