"It does not matter about vocation, religion, gender or heritage. We are all on the same team to build a better community both locally and Internationally."

Rotary's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Statement:
As a global network that strives to build a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change, Rotary values diversity and celebrates the contributions of people of all backgrounds, regardless of their age, ethnicity, race, color, abilities, religion, socioeconomic status, culture, sex, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
Rotary will cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture in which people from underrepresented groups have greater opportunities to participate as members and leaders.

This statement is an exciting step forward in Rotary's commitment to creating a positive environment for current and future members, as well as the communities they serve.
There are 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical areas. Clubs are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. As signified by the motto Service Above Self, Rotary’s main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world.

MEMBER CATEGORIES AND FEES

Regular Membership - The Rotary year runs from July 1 - June 30 and the regular membership dues are $250.00 annually.

Corporate Membership Initiative – the Rotary Club of Lincoln is acknowledging the growing importance that corporations place on Corporate Social Responsibility so it is for this reason that our club has created a Corporate Membership.

Corporate Membership - Rotary provides a great forum for companies to give back to the community. To encourage corporate membership, we offer corporate memberships at a reduced rate for multiple members. Up to three people per organization can act as designates for meetings and functions with one of them being “the primary member”. The associate members will be selected by the primary member. Your organization will be able to replace a member as required.
If a primary or associate member leaves your corporation, their corporate membership position with the club may be replaced upon notice to the club.  If a primary or associate wishes to join the club as an individual member, they may do so by paying the $250 annual fee or prorated fee dependent upon the timing of the revision.
The Rotary magazine goes to the primary member to share with the associate members.  The Corporate membership dues shall be $500 per annum.
Membership in Rotary can provide your organization with a great team building tool and a way to give back, while networking and promoting your business at the same time.

Student Membership - We want to encourage participation in Rotary by younger members of our community, so membership to members that are at least 18 yrs. old and fulltime students will be $50.00 per year (a discount from our regular membership fees of $250.00).

WHY JOIN ROTARY?
We asked some of our members why they joined Rotary. Here is what they said:
  • A great place for networking and meeting like-minded people in the community and to form long lasting friendships;
  • Perfect forum for fundraising for local, national and international causes;
  • An opportunity to help to increase public awareness about issues in our local community here in Lincoln
  • An opportunity to participate in community projects; and
  • A simple way to give back to the community.

WHY BECOME A CORPORATE MEMBER?
Participating as an active member of the Rotary Club of Lincoln presents a number of advantages through an effective partnership that includes:
  • Participating in a service organization with a rich history capable of assessing and responding to a diverse range of needs within the community and worldwide.
  • By supporting, contributing to, participating in and working with like groups in local, national and international community initiatives and in developing youth leadership, the future of our communities.
  • Increased awareness of your corporation or organization within the community through association with Rotary and the many programs that are supported by the Rotary Club of Lincoln.
