Some Lincoln Rotarians and friends out helping plant trees around 12 Mile Creek.

Given Rotary’s new mandate of supporting the environment, in partnership with the Niagara chapter of Trout Unlimited (TUC) we participated in a tree planting event on Saturday October 23.
The purpose of the tree planting is to restore the forest canopy along the precious 12 Mile Creek, the last cool water stream in Niagara and home to the last Brook Trout in Niagara. The project is on private property and is being done with some support of the property owners and Great Lakes Action.
