Sunset Music Series Official Launch
On Wednesday, June 9, 2010 the Rotary Club of Lincoln will welcome a host of dignitaries, community leaders and volunteers to the Rotary Shell at Charles Daley Park for the official launch of our 2010 Sunset Music Series.
As the successful recipient of an Ontario Trillium Foundation grant, Lincoln Rotary takes the lead in launching the inaugural series of nine weekly concerts each Tuesday evening, July 6 through August 31, 2010, 7:00pm – 8:30pm, at The Rotary Shell.
The Sunset Music Series is supported by a host of community organizations and volunteers, including the Town of Lincoln, Lincoln Concert Band and Note for Note Professional Music Productions.
Everyone is invited to attend the weekly concerts FREE of CHARGE. The Sunset Music Series is geared to the musical tastes of people of all ages. From jazz to rock to country and more, each concert will feature a different theme.
For folks who are more comfortable listening on their car radios in the parking lot, each concert will be broadcast live through a FM radio transmitter.
Wednesday, June 9th will mark the official launch of the weekly series and light refreshments will be served before the official program begins at 10:30 a.m.
