After years of participating in the Rotary Club of Lincoln Lamplighter Tour someone asked her why she wasn't a Rotarian? Soon after, she attended a meeting and realized how many familiar faces she knew and she felt like she was with family so she joined 8 years ago. 
Sarah works full-time and teaches part-time at Mohawk College in the City School program. She is passionate about creating inclusive learning environments and supporting learners as they overcome barriers to education and employment.
When not working, she loves shopping local (especially at bakeries), drinking tea, and watching Disney movies.
She considers herself a bit of a foodie, and says that she loved the Wing-Ding's we hosted at Charles Daley park because there is nothing better than wings
