
Mike Hahn President Elect, Sue Foster President, Reg Madison District Governor
Reg Madison has been a member of Brantford Sunrise Rotary Club since 2003. In 2009/10 he served as their president. He is three times a Paul Harris fellow. He and Loretta have hosted five exchange students and have attended a large number of International Conventions. They have six children and eight grandchildren. He was awarded the Brantford Citizen of the Year award in 2017.
He spoke about :
1. The Rotary Citation Award where a club enters their goals and completes three goals from four categories.
2. The Lighthouse Award
3. Governor's Trophy, which is the top club to accomplish one and two above.
He also spoke about the three area
1. Support and strengthen the club with gender parity, diversity, average age, young professionals, recent retirees, retention and succession planning. We should also reach out to people of different skin colours and cultures.
2 Retention He said Rotary had 1.2 million members ten years ago. 1.2 million have joined, but we are still at 1.2 million. How do we retain members?
he suggested that we should track and publish service and activity, so the community knows what we do?
3. Enhance pubic Image :
