Peter grew up in Vineland as part of a large Juhlke clan. He worked various jobs in cement work and landscaping before attending Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener. Peter wanted to become a youth worker.
While attending Emmanuel College he met his future wife Annie at the College. They have been married 6 years and have two children Maximus & Rosie.
Peter's family moved around a lot and he worked at various cement work jobs in Brampton and Durham. He started working with YFC in Tillsonberg, where his job was fundraising. He found he wasn't very good at fundraising in a town where he had no family and didn't know a lot of people in the community.
He decided that he and his family would return to Vineland where he worked with his brother in his brother's company as a logistics manager. While working there he started volunteering at the Upper Deck Youth Centre.
Peter accepted a job at Upper Deck 4 yrs. ago as a youth worker and a fundraiser. Once again he was involved in fundraising but found it much easier in his home town where he had family and connections in the community.
He enjoys his work as a youth leader and likes the idea of hanging out with youth and helping them get through life hurdles and finding employment.
Peter also spends Tuesday & Thursday mornings volunteering in grade six classes to help kids that need some extra help with school.
Welcome Peter and thanks for reaching out to the club to inquire about membership. We cannot wait to work with you in one or many of our club youth initiatives.
