LAURA CORDER
As a newcomer to Lincoln, Laura resides in Vineland and very recently secured full-time employment as Administrative Assistant with Niagara Community Legal Clinic - www.niagaracommunitylegalclinic.com.  She grew up in Mississauga and achieved her BA Geography at Carleton University & certification as English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor at Canadian College of Educators. In addition to her ESL teaching experience primarily with Spanish speaking immigrants, Laura has worked in a wide variety of sectors where she honed her skills in customer/client service, accounting, facilities administration & office management - https://ca.linkedin.com/in/lauracorder
 
Laura lived in Burlington for 20 years. In following her parents and brother & sister-in-law to Niagara in early 2019, Laura came to volunteer at the Heritage Gift Shop in Jordan Village. It was there that she met Rotarian Barb Mitges. She now counts Barb as a very dear friend who led her to the ROTARY CLUB OF LINCOLN and membership as a PROUD ROTARIAN.
 
JAROD BRANDON
Born in Sydney, Australia, Jarod emigrated when he was a one-year old with his Mom, an Aussie, & his Dad, a “misplaced Dutchman” to Dayton, Ohio & shortly thereafter, to Toronto, Ontario, where he grew up. He studied history at York University and is a passionate history buff. Following a stint with his father’s transportation business, he took up pursuits as a young entrepreneur in Florida and South America. Since the early 1990s, Jarod has been actively involved in the residential real estate market gaining invaluable practical experience from buying and selling numerous properties. Jarod lives in Beamsville with his wife, daughter and new puppy. Since moving from Burlington about 8 years ago, he has enthusiastically embraced his new home both through his work and as a very active community volunteer. He is a founding partner and board member of the Beamsville Fairgrounds Community Neighbourhood Association. Jarod is also a director on the Beamsville Early Learning and Child Care Centre (Co-op Daycare) Board and Lincoln Commerce of Commerce Board and now, a PROUD MEMBER of the ROTARY CLUB OF LINCOLN.
