On May 27 the morning club meeting was jam packed! We had the privilege of three speakers. First up was Coco Chan this year's inbound exchange student from Taiwan. Coco resided with our host families for the past year and attended West Niagara Secondary School.
Coco's youth exchange was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lincoln & The Grimsby Evening Rotary Club. We would like to thank the three host families for making Coco's visit a reality and thank Coco for being a courageous young person open to learning about Canada and letting us learn a little bit about Taiwan.
We then heard from Bryan Rose from the Niagara Community Foundation a pillar of our region, actively promoting philanthropy to support the charitable sector in our communities. By building positive, long-lasting relationships between donors and the causes they support, NCF helps sustain positive change in Niagara, now and for the future.
Last but not least we heard from Jonna Wolfenberg - Manager of Philanthropy YMCA to tell us about the YMCA youth programs and a little more detail around the YMCA Summer Adventure Camps.
