A message from Rob Foster Re the first night of the Mavericks Watering Hole.

Our first night has come and gone with the Mavericks.  There was a lot of excitement in the building and over 300 tickets were sold -- not bad for a first year team.  I think Friday night hockey is going to over well.

Dave Wood, Jenn Southward, Terry Kotwa, Sue Foster and I manned the fort, so to speak.

Now, it wasn't all perfect -- we had a few teething issues/hiccups -- but those are being cleared for week 2.

Less input costs, we made about $300 in beer/wine sales.  In addition, we made about $40 for Polio Plus.  We are making plans to improve on both.

Next Friday (September 16), I am going to be Vancouver.  Sue Foster and Dave Wood will be running the show.

We need at least 2 additional volunteers (need to be at the arena somewhere between 5:30 and 6, there until 9 PM approx.)

Please check your schedules and consider volunteering on the following upcoming dates:

Friday September 16
Friday September 23
Friday September 30
Friday October 14
Friday October 21 **
Friday October 28
