Since Rotarians adapt well, our meeting was held outside! Conversations apologized for not being ready for us, but the muffins were delicious.

Our own John Kralt was board chair of the Library for 8 years, he introduced our speaker. So very sorry that we had to be outside.
- We learned that the summer reading program is full with 350 children.
- In 2018 there were 220,000 items loaned out, 176,000 visits and 90,000 books loaned out.
- With provincial grants frozen everyone has pulled together to make inter loan facilities work within our area.
- There are now Book Clubs at Bench Brewery called Books and Brew!
- Every Thursday in August there are counselors on site for youth mental health problems, this is free.
- The library is working on Indigenous resources.
- The library is loaning out mini tablets for those kids who do not have internet at home. Fully loaded and ready to learn.
